Voicethread
Personally I find Voicethread the most user friendly online tool that I have used, and so have my students. I have discovered endless applications for is and all you need is an internet connection and a microphone enabled device and presto.
It is a powerful tool for collaboration and getting feedback for students. Essentially, Voicethread is a multimedia slideshow that you can add images, documents or video to and users can comment on in 5 different ways (telephone, microphone, audio file, webcam or text).
You can also 'doodle' or annotate whhile you record your comment. Comments can be moderated by the creator or left open. A voicethread can also be embedded on other websites, just like a Youtube video.
